Seems that we are a bit lite on French challengers. Should I volunteer to temporarily switch sides? Is it allowed here?

Greetings Gentlemen,

I am updating the Battle Brigade web pages... It looks like we have 5 Coalition ready to battle 4 La Grande Armée officers...

John Sheffield, Thomas Whitfield, Trevor Preston, Erin O'Brian, & Ed Blackburn...

Aldo Miccio, Antonio Miccio, Iley Lebouf & William Reaves

Please update me as to who is playing who...

And if there is anything I need to do to help get the the action started...

Battle On...
Al

Hi Al,
My understanding of the current situation is that Antonio Zinno, Aldo Miccio versus Aleksandr Zaytsev and Bill Cann whilst Bill Reaves and Slawomir Manikowski versus Vladimir Repnin and Scott Clawson.
Thomas Whitfield and I are paired together awaiting to do battle against Iley Lebouf and one other French player TBA.
Ed Blackburn, Trevor Preston and Erin O’Brian are presently awaiting further French officers still wishing to engage.

Regards, John.

John Sheffield's summary is 99% accurate. However, the list should also include the original multi-player challenge issued by Todd Schmidgall and Al Kling and promptly accepted by Michael Arrett and Mark van Hatten.

It is sincerely hoped that 4 additional French officers will step forward to do battle with the waiting Coalition officers.

Yes, it is allowed for you to play beside a Dragon officer in a Battle Brigade match. In this case, you would share the fate of your French partner. You would be fighting for the honor of the Dragons in this case which means that you would be fighting against the honor of Bonaparte's Bane. If you win the match with your French partner, you would be assisting the Dragons in potentially capturing the Bane's Swords and Colors.

It is always best to play all Bane against all Dragons, but you are allowed to mix partners so long as both sides clearly understand whose side they are representing. It will look weird if your name gets posted on the Dragons webpage in honor of one of their victories though.

To summarize, it is allowed, but not encouraged.

Understood Mark Jones. But also, if there is an unbalance in one side or the other then you have a barrier to people playing scenarios when there is a demand. Since I really do not have much, if any victories/losses then I may inquire about being a reverse Bernadotte, so as to decrease the bottleneck.

Thanks,
Tom

Monsieur Tom,

Your participation will be very welcome on the French side. We have much to offer, and you will immediately notice that we smell better.

Whatever your decision, we appreciate your enthusiasm to join in the battle.
