Campaign Bautzen or Leipzig

Post by Slawomir Manikowski » Sat Dec 22, 2018 1:01 pm

Hi;
I am looking for Aliant to the above-mentioned campaigns.
House rules to be agreed. (I like games that reflect historical realism, however, so that the gameplay is not lost).
Regards
Merry Christmas

Slawek,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's to you.

This morning I actually had the thought that I'd like to try one of the bigger campaigns. Bautzen/Leipzig came to mind. And lo and behold I see your post.

I would be interested in discussing the idea further via e-mail. I can typically get 4-5 turns out per week outside of a few vacations each year where my wife is less than thrilled at me doing "Napoleon turns."

One hesitation I have is that I prefer a bare minimum of House Rules combined with the tournament optional rules our club uses. This tends to avoid misunderstandings. That said, I am open to considering suggestions provided they don't push it too far away from the game engine itself (e.g., no "embedded melee" rule).

If you think we might be a good match up, please send a message along to marrett1981@yahoo.com and we can discuss it further.

Regards,

Oberst-Leutnant Michael Arrett
