Greetings from Madrid.

Post by Antonio Simon » Mon Apr 02, 2018 12:19 pm

Hi everyone.
This is my first message in the club and I only intend to introduce myself.
My name is Antonio, I'm Spanish and 58 years old.
I've been playing wargames since I was 14 years old, but always alone and badly :(.
Looking for a way to share my passion with others I found this club, for the recommendation of a fellow member of the "Punta de Lanza" forum, the best forum for wargames in Spanish, which I have been following for some time.
My favorite times are Rome, Napoleonic, especially the Peninsular War and WW II, especially the airborne operations of Normady and Market-Ǵarden.
Now I'm playing with JTS Napoleonic Waterloo and PZB Normandy and I want to expand these games with an Ancient Wars, a Squad Battles and a Panzer Campaigns, followed by a new game every month, so I would appreciate proposals of the most interesting to acquire .
I can not finish without thanking Al and Mark for their efficient and kind reception at the club.
I expect great battles with all of you and grow as a player within the club.

PD: Sorry my bad English.

Very glad to have you with us, Antonio. There is never a need to apologize for your English, as I assure you it is infinitely superior to my Spanish. I fear that I am totally relegated to a translator in that regard.

Welcome Don Antonio!
Glad to see you amongst our fellow officers.
I am looking forward to meet you in the fields of Bonaparte's Peninsular war - one of my favorite too.

Hello everyone.
I take this thread of Antonio - I hope you do not mind ;) - to introduce myself, since apparently we share many aspects: I am also in Madrid and I met you through, a great place in Spanish for lovers of the wargaming. I knew the games of HPS through Battleground Chickamauga almost 20 years ago, although at present I limit myself to playing those of the Napoleonic Age, of which I own Waterloo, Leipzig and Eckmuhl. I hope to share great moments with all of you and that we have a lot of fun fighting ...
By the way, Antonio, I've seen that you also own Waterloo and I have room for a game with which to warm up in Wargaming Society if you're interested.
