Recommended John Tiller WW1 Campaigns

Post by Bruce Green » 06 Oct 2020 23:14

Hi, first post. Looking at getting one of the JTS WW1 games and I am interested in peoples recommendations? Is one more popular or better than the others or is it personal preference? If you could only get one, which out of the three would you choose and why?
Thanks for your comments. Bruce

Hi Bruce. In my opinion France '14 is the way to go. Its more or less balance and will give you a feel for WW1.
East Prussia '14 is more defense in for the Russians. You will get to practice a lot of rear-guard [defense moves].
Serbia '14 incorporates a lot WW1 tactics that should of been practice in F '14 and EP '14.
If you want email me; feltcote@aol.com I would be glad to help you play your first scenario.

Hi Daniel, thank you for the reply and summary of differences, sounds like France 14 is the way to go then and i see there seems to be a number of active players too. I haven't got the game yet but will look at getting it in the next few weeks. Will definitely be in contact for an initial game... will do a bit of reading the manual first of course. Thanks again
