Re: Major General Mark Jones
Thank you, gentlemen.
My recent promotion serves as irrefutable proof that God, and our beloved King George, certainly do look out for drunken fools. Please do join me in a round or two. That goes for the notable, French General Kling as well. If I were a betting man, which I actually am known to be, I would wager that General Kling will be the first of Old Nappy's officers to be awarded his Marechal's baton.
Cheers to you, gentlemen officers one and all!

Dear Major General Mark Jones.
When you finally emerge from the tavern and are ready for your first review, please remember to upgrade the rank on your signature. You have always been so kind to provide this service to myself and others in our Band of Brothers. Take care and drink less, I have refilled the St. Bernard's keg twice already.

Re: Major General Mark Jones
Thank you, Gentlemen!
General Cann, you would not happen to have seen my kit of art supplies, would you? I had left it on the tavern table near a group of disreputable looking Frenchmen. I am sure that they absconded with my property. My dilemma lies in the fact that I am unable to identify the perpetrators as all Frenchmen are disreputable looking.
(When I changed jobs, my familiar Corel Draw was removed from my library along with the company computer on which it was housed. Although I have acquired some free, graphics software that seems quite good, I have not yet mastered its use. This, coupled with the fact that I am now consigned to recreating all of my graphics from scratch with the new software, has adversely impacted my desire to update my signatures. I am sure that I will eventually learn it as I should. There just has not been any real rush on my part to do so. That is the honest answer.)
My other dilemma is whether we need a bigger keg or a bigger dog. Given my well know propensity for the consumption of copious quantities of alcohol, we might actually need a supply wagon (or two).
